Administrator's Commentary
I started this journey to try and make a small difference in our environment - I felt an inability to control our global destiny in a large scale manner, so I determined I should start in small increments. I developed this website, and crossed my fingers!
I am so encouraged every time I get a message from my website with reader's providing additional resources - and feel even more optimistic when a younger contributor contacts me. It is essential that our younger generations get involved in environmental issues - these upcoming generations have the ability to right the wrong that is transpiring today in our environment, and influence the decisions that global leaders are making that will impact generations to come. Together, we can make the difference needed to improve our environment and eco-systems, as well as create the awareness for others to keep the momentum alive and well.
I must give a shout out to all parents that are promoting organizations such as the Girl Scouts and providing opportunity for their children for growth and education. Helping children become people of character, with a quest of learning, does not happen without fortitude, discipline and dedication by parents that are typically torn between satisfying employer demands and the needs of an active family. Thank you for all that you do to promote environmental stewardship in our children!
Please continue reading for additional resources provided by researchers and readers that have come across the information on my website. I want to thank each and every person that reaches out, he or she that takes the time and effort to make a small difference in our mutual destiny. You are motivating and inspiring, and I encourage you to keep up the great work, and to continue to scatter joy in whatever medium you choose to educate and inspire others.

A young person in the Des Moines locale provide me the following resource - she is researching and writing a presentation for a school project. The article provides good information on how the fragrance of a blooming plant is important in attracting pollinators to your gardens, as well as validates other information presented on this website.
Flower Fragrances That Attract Bees and Butterflies to Your Garden

Information provided by a researcher that is working on establishing a butterfly garden in a new home, after leaving a generational homestead. As always, I appreciate the time people take to make this website a more valuable resource for all!

A young person actively engaged in Girl Scouts provided this resource for creating pollinator gardens. She is working on her Flower Garden Badge as a part of the Life Skills Journey for her troop.
