I cannot say enough great things about Just Iowa Honey and Valerie. First of all, the honey is the best tasting I have ever had, second, Val was so nice and accommodating. I had an idea of a wedding gift and she helped me from the start to completing. I ordered 65 jars of honey and she came through. Val will always have a place in our heart. Look no where else for your honey needs. SIMPLY THE BEST!!
Valerie was a dream to work with from start to finish!!! I wanted a custom label for mini hexagon jars and she mocked up several choices for me and made the process so easy. The jars turned out beautifully, I had colleagues gushing over how great they looked. Appreciated her helpfulness every step of the ordering process. I would 100% recommend working with this business for any honey gift needs!

We love bees. And honey.
In that order.

There is no wrong way to eat beelicious honey!
We say add that yummy honey, and don't be afraid to get messy!
You can eat honey straight from the spoon for a quick energy boost, or use it to sweeten beverages like tea and coffee, breakfast items such as oatmeal and yogurt, or in baked goods.
Honey also enhances both sweet and savory foods, working well drizzled over fruits and cheeses, or as an ingredient in glazes, marinades, and salad dressings.
When ordering the Black Locust or LInden/Black Locust varietal honey, you will receive information on food pairings to enhance your culinary experience! Honey isn't just for your cup of coffee or tea, or for baking, or slathered on your English muffin! Honey varietals can be paired with food accompaniments to enhance the flavor of those foods.
Just Iowa Honey Bees
'Do the Zoo'!

Two of our bee colonies are working at the zoo this summer! Named aptly after Greek and Roman goddesses, Anthea (goddess of flowery wreaths) and Flora (goddess of flowers and spring), this is the second year for both of these colonies. The bees gather nectar within a three mile radius of the zoo! Last year, this honey had a black locust influence! We will extract again in early August - stay tuned for honey offerings from the zoo colonies!
